The European Supply Chain Institute is an international member body whose mandate is to research technologies and business practises that can have a direct positive impact on supply chains globally. The Institute is heading up the new international research initiative, the Supply Chain Carbon Council that was launched in September. The Carbon Council is a multiyear programme whose remit is to build a framework for all stakeholders in the Supply Chain to work from in their quest for Carbon Reduction. 国务院机构改革后，调整了协会的职能，进一步明确了任务，充实了力量，从而为协会工作创造了有利条件。根据需要，协会设有秘书处、洗选加工部和环保节能部三个职能部门和《煤炭加工与综合利用》杂志编辑部。下设有“低热值燃料发电分会”、“煤转化专业委员会”、“煤系共伴生资源综合利用分会”等二级分会和专家咨询组。并受政府部门的委托，对煤炭工业环保安全培训中心和煤炭工业环境监测站进行业务指导。

协会成立24年来，在上级有关部门和会员单位的大力支持下，围绕煤炭洗选加工、综合利用多种经营、环境保护和节约能源，做了大量工作，取得了明显的经济效益和社会效益，为合理开发利用煤炭资源，贯彻实施煤炭工业可持续发展战略做出了贡献。

在新世纪的征途中，中国煤炭加工利用协会将以党的十六大精神为指针，与时俱进，协调政府、服务企业，按照职能要求，在煤炭洗选加工、环保节能、资源综合利用多种经营和推广洁净煤技术方面，充分发挥协会的作用，为开创我国煤炭加工利用事业的新局面而努力奋斗！

Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) was established in 1990 supported by Environment Agency (currently Ministry of the Environment) of Japanese Government for the promotion of international cooperation in a non-governmental position.
